A Note to our Community,

After much thought, I've made the difficult decision to close Community Yoga.

This studio has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Together we've created far more than a place to practice yoga—we've built a community rooted in kindness, curiosity, laughter, healing, and genuine connection. Community Yoga was a beautiful continuation of the foundation I had at Desert Song. I will always be grateful for every person who has walked through these doors.

The decision to close was not made lightly. Like many small businesses, Community Yoga has been affected by the changing commercial real estate market and a significant increase in rent and the demand for a 5-yr lease (the original lease was 3). After careful consideration, which included new family circumstances in NY, I decided not to renew and to begin planning my move back east.

Closing Timeline

Community Yoga will remain open through September 2026, with our final day of classes to be announced as we get closer.

Between now and then, classes, workshops, and special events will continue as scheduled. We have many months left together, and I intend to make the most of them.

Studio Assets for Sale

I'm offering the studio's furnishings, equipment, and improvements for sale as a complete package. This is an opportunity for someone to step into a thoughtfully designed, fully equipped yoga studio without the expense and effort of building one from the ground up.

The sale includes nearly everything needed to begin operating a yoga or wellness space, including flooring, reception furnishings, yoga props, custom shelving, furniture, sound system, décor, and more.

The purchaser would establish their own business and apply directly with the landlord for a lease.

Please note: This is an asset sale. Community Yoga, its name, branding, website, and email list are not included.

If you know someone who has dreamed of opening a yoga or wellness studio, I'd love to connect with them.

What's Next?

Although this studio is closing, this isn't goodbye. Teaching yoga remains one of the greatest privileges of my life, and I hope our paths continue to cross in new ways. As plans for the future become clearer, I'll share updates through my newsletter and social media.

Thank you for trusting me, practicing with me, supporting this little studio, and helping create something truly special.

With love and gratitude,

Evon Hart, Founder
